Joomla is a CMS (Content Management System) similar to WordPress. Joomla is not as popular as WordPress, but is still very widely used. Joomla offers more possibilities for the hard-core developer than WordPress and is used primarily in more complicated builds. 

Similar to WordPress, Joomla has a “back-end” or admin area, and a “front-end” which is the content displayed online. Some of Joomla’s popular features are;
